There Is No Slowing Down: Rage Against The Machine Returns Home...Again.
"Oh feel the funk blast..."With that emphatic proclamation by Zack de la Rocha, Rage Against The Machine will once again return home to Southern California for the second time this year. I'd be completely frontin' if I declared that my anxiety and anticipation were propelled by The Roots, Mos Def, or even Public Enemy. I see them as simply a volatile bonus to the real deal.
Though Rage Against The Machine doesn't necessarily bid with as much hype as the likes of the aforementioned, hip-hop heads are still surely to receive a shock in their cerebrum. The truth of the matter is that most of these artists are advocates of rugged and raw deliverance. As Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Cyprus Hill have proved over the years, they are a symbol of innovation and rebellion. And with that, Rock The Bells seems to have the right idea: bring together the rebels and a revolution can ensue.
I head out tomorrow morning. The recap will follow immediately. Watch out kids, the big boys are in town this weekend.

Put my son on the train late yesterday afternoon, his homies were to meet him there so they could all go to this celebration of music and well you name it.
Let us know how it went because Gee may not give me the whole picture.
I may be his old fashioned mother but I do know who Rage against the Machine, Mos Def, the Roots,Cypress Hill and Public Enenmy are.
I don't live in a cave after all.
